HR After HRs
|
HR After HRs is one of the newest virtual events that replaced Professional Interaction Night (PIN). HR: After HRs now serves as mini networking events with professionals in various Hawai'i industries that SHRMies are interested in. At this event, members attend break out rooms with different professionals that work in the industries they want to pursue a career in. This is a time for our student members to network, ask questions, and for our invited professionals to meet new and incoming talent.
This semester we have 2 HR After HRs planned, giving our members opportunities to network with different professionals.

Virtual Mock Interview
Mock Interview is a week-long event where members are selected and paired with/get interviewed by professionals in the Hawai'i business community. The purpose of this event is to give members exposure to and learn the process of preparing and conducting themselves in an interview setting. As we navigate through the current COVID-19 environment, interviews will be conducted via Zoom. Thus, giving members a feel of how interviews can be conducted now. Aside from the actual interview, members are given feedback from their partnered professionals.

Insight Series

One of our newest virtual events takes the place of our previous Company Tours. The purpose of the Insight Series enlightens SHRMies about various business industries they have an interest in. They will have the opportunity to learn about a company's culture, values, and work life from actual employees themselves!

WorkshopsCampus-to-Career! This semester, our Director of Corporate Relations designed a road map for our workshops. Campus-to-Career helps and prepares our SHRMies on the transition from their college careers to the workforce!
